What is Stitch'N Love Boutique?

Picture
Stitch'N Love Boutique is an online and craft show boutique. It was started in April 2008 as simply Stitch'N Love. At first, it was going to be a quilting business with possible embroidery offered. That didn't last very long. Within a month, the first purse was created and two were sold on eBay in May 2008. In June 2008, Etsy was discussed at a girls night out dinner and a few days later, www.stitchnlove.etsy.com was created.

The first sale on Etsy was an alchemy bid that was won to make a bigger infant sleep wrap. It was the first time that owner Christie designed something to create just by looking at pictures. She was soon hooked on creating!

Soon, all kinds of things were being added. A ribbon addiction was created when she found out how to make hair bows. By late summer, she found a place to buy designer fabric (she actually had never heard of DESIGNER fabric) and after that first stuffed box of fabric, she was hooked for sure.

In April 2009, Stitch'N Love made it's craft show debut at the Soft Shell Crab Festival in Port Royal, SC. It was a great experience to get to see the people that buy SNLB items.

Now, Stitch'N Love Boutique tries to be a full service boutique. Custom clothing, hair accessories, purse, totes and accessories can all be found in it's virtual walls or in a craft show booth.

In fact, so much of a full service boutique that in 2010, Stitch' N Love branched out in Etsy and created a few more shops to hold several of the different product lines...

Pixie Ana for the girls clothing and playtime accessories.
Little Man Zack for boys clothing and accessories.
Simply Love Bowtique for hair bows and headbands.

We now have a tiny little studio in the backyard to work out of. From time to time, okay with a family of four kids in the house, it's a daily occurrence, things are still worked on in the home!
